Great Quality

A really nicely presented Blu-ray, really clear transfer with some nice extras.

Classic Survival Film

1965’s Flight of the Phoenix is an excellent disaster drama film. Jimmy Stewart plays the veteran cargo plane pilot, alongside the navigator played by Richard Attenborough, and the German aeronautical engineer played by Hardy Kruger. This film is more than a simple disaster film in that there is a lot of built up tension, it’s attention to detail about planes and how they work and also how people react. Beautifully filmed with a strong supporting cast.
