Hard Target Blu Ray

A little guilty pleasure from the 90's! I really enjoyed this film. It is what it is. An all out boys action film. Van Damme at his best and some amazing shoot out sequences from Woo. They don't make action films like this anymore!

Hard Target

What can I say? John Woo and Van Damme... long time ago already one of them was a guarantee was a good "B" action movie. Good to see these movies in HD. The release is cool.

Bon Chance

What can I say about Hard Target? Well it's great! For a small period of time, Van Damme was the man. Coupled with John Woo as director this film is both violent and stylish. You will have seen many of the techniques used throughout the film in more modern films but this is where they first appeared outside of China. John Woo of Hard Boiled landed in America, turned the action up to full and created celluloid mayhem. He did it again with both Broken Arrow and Face Off And now you can experience all the action on a superb Blu-ray disc in high definition.

Van Damme's best film to date.

It may once have been a second-rate "B" picture, but John Woo turns it into something better. Van Damme's kicks and flips never looked so cool. Presenting Mr. Van Damme as reverentially as Sergio Leone did the young Clint Eastwood, Mr. Woo displays a real aptitude for malignant mischief, which is this story's stock in trade.
