This steelbook looks far better in the metal, where the gold and the deep red really pop, than it does in the pictures. The film itself is a bona fide classic, which has finally received its due in the form of a 4K disc. If you are fan of great movie-making, or just want to show off your new home theatre, don't hesitate, buy this immediately!

As one of my favourite films, I was very keen to pick up this 4k release. It’s safe to say that I was not disappointed with it. This is the best the film has ever looked and the steelbook it is packaged in looks brilliant,

I think that this is probably the best 4K transfer I’ve ever seen. It almost looks three-dimensional on the screen.

I was lucky enough to get this when it was re-released just a few weeks ago. Sold out in less than an hour so I don't know how many were made. Love the bright bold artwork on the steelbook, which arrived very quickly with absolutely no damage or defects. My only issue with this UK edition is that the four discs are stacked two per side and are quite difficult to get in and out, the US edition has a flip tray meaning one disc per slot. The outer paper info sheet can easily be ripped when removing as well. As for the film, it's a work of art and genius film making. The four hour run time has you gripped throughout. It looks absolutely stunning in 4k, one of the best around without a doubt. It's spread across two discs to maintain that stunning picture quality. There are also two blu rays, one with the film and one with extra material. I highly recommend this film on 4k blu ray, a must buy.

Visually stunning release on 4K. A must buy for any film fan. 

I remember watching this with my dad growing up and falling asleep and waking up and it was still on....as I get older I re watched it and wow!! Amazing! Amazing film looks even better in 4k and the steelbook finishes it off completely! Thank you zavvi! Keep the Amazing releases coming!

This film looks and sounds amazing and it is great to finally have it in my hands in 4k. Yes, the steelbook packaging does look better than I expected, but I've bought it for the film. Will there be a standard release? I couldn't wait to find out.......

Great film but for those that paid a arm and a leg for this film only to find it re-release at a much cheaper price what is going on zavi
