One for the petrolheads

Le Mans must be the best motor racing movie out there. There's not much of a story, it actually feels like a documentary. There are cameo appearances from drivers of the period and the cars are all authentic (unlike in Grand Prix). It is so much more realistic than other motor racing films, with their contrived plot lines. If you are interested in motor racing you should buy this movie.

Le Mans

Le Mans is one of the best racing films ever produced. You feel that you are actualy within the race itself. Steve Mcqueen was the master driver, covering all his own scenes without the aid of a stunt man. All the races are really realistic compared to VFX used today. Give yourself a treat and purchase this DVD, it is better than anything produced today.
