"Motion Comics" have come a long way, from just zooming in and out on printed comics pages - it's not the same as full animation, but you certainly get plenty of bang for your buck here, courtesy of Neal Adams and his Continuity Studios. The script and art of Marvel comics are used, suitably enhanced so that the characters move, fight, and change their expressions while they talk. If you enjoy the X-Men, Iron Man, Black Panther, Spider-Woman, and Thor on the printed page, then you certainly should find this fun, though having the full credits and acknowledgements after every chapter, rather than editing each disc's individual issues together into one seamless story arc, seems slightly strange.
amazing value for money and the stories (especially the Whedon ones) are great. didn't think motion comics could look so brilliant and be so gripping. absolute bargain !!
These story lines from the great comic archives and minds like Joss Wedon, are great value and entertainment. Playing out like an animated comic opposed to a cartoon, and in chapters took a little getting used to, but that doesn't distract too much from the main plot. For this price with 8 discs and features, it's really good value for money.
