Neurotic, self-obsessed Robert Cole (Albert Brooks) is a successful film editor who splits up with his on-off girlfriend (Kathryn Harrold), only to try and win her back when he finds he can't live without her. Considered by many to be one of America's greatest comic talents, and sought out by filmmakers including Martin Scorsese, Judd Apatow, Steven Soderbergh and Nicolas Winding Refn, actor-writer-director Brooks created what is perhaps his most caustic and excruciatingly honest film in Modern Romance.

I missed out on the initial issue of this movie, so I was really happy that Indicator decided to re-release this. One of Albert Brooks very best films. Do not hesitate. If you are a fan of this movie, go ahead and purchase. This is the definitive edition on blu ray and Zavvi does a great job getting products shipped out in a timely manner.
Big thanks to Indicator Films for re-releasing this Albert Brooks classic. I missed out out on the first run, but I wasn't going to miss this issue. Indicator is as high quality as Criterion, if not better. Outstanding scans, supplements and packaging. If you are a fan, this release is highly recommended. Oh yeah, Zavvi does a great job getting these blu rays to my mailbox. Thanks Zavvi.
