Glamorous Re-Working of a Classic Murder Mystery

Having seen and enjoyed both the Sidney Lumet and ITV versions of this classic tale, I wasn't sure if there was anything that could justify another retelling. However, the cast all give interesting interpretations to their various roles of detective, "victim", and suspects. There are some changes to the source material, which did not bother me too much and at least added some additional element of uncertainty. Also, I think the central theme of justice and what happens when the law fails to punish the guilty is still evident and as powerful as ever. So while It is not my favourite version of this mystery, it is still worth watching.
