A remake of George Mihalka's 1981 violent original. Tom Hanniger (Jensen Ackles) is finding it difficult to come to terms with an incident he was involved in that led a murderer to take bloody revenge on Valentines Night 10 years ago killing 22 people. 10 years on and it’s now the anniversary of the massacre and Tom is back in town but that horrifying night he wishes to put behind him is now beginning to replay and people are being brutally murdered once again. Tom is now the number one suspect and the only person who believes his innocence is his old flame Sarah.

A decent enough attempt at making the horror genre work in 3D. I did notice some crosstalk on several occasions, though this may be a result of owning a lower value 3D television. Story line is what you would expect from a hacker style film. Don't expect too much and you'll enjoy it enough.
Ok i know this film would never win an oscar but if you like a semi-decent gory slasher movie and take it for what it is ... a bit of fun ... plus with some decent 3D effects then you wont go far wrong with this film for a cheap nights entertainment. Two thumbs up :)
It's amazing how some movies have a particular way of being seen. My bloody valentine is in 3D. The image is cristal crisp, and the 3D is really cool. The bluray comes with a 2D version wich is passible allthough the quality of the picture and sound still rocks the best way to see this movie is in 3D. The special features are very cool "old scholl" but they should be in HD... and they're not. It's a must buy to horror fans. The movie is really entertaining and the 3D is a must! Buy it!
