Nymphomaniac
Probably Lars Von Triers best film(s). If you have the patience, a very fascinating story unfolds before your eyes. It is extremely graphic in its portrayal of sexual deviancy but it does help the viewer connect with the main character with a certain level of compassion. This of course is in between moments you despise her for her cold and emotionless attitude towards her partners. Uma Thurman should have received a supporting actor nod for her brief appearance as a scorned wife. Charlotte Gainsbourg is terrific as usual. Movies conclusion consists of a plot twist that will have you contemplating its meaning for days following. Recommended, but keep out of reach of children.

Lars Von Trier strikes again.
Fantastic, witty, surprising, slightly shocking and a little rude. If you are looking for the perfect antidote to Hollywood this is it. Don't watch it with your parents.
