Description

Briskly paced and breathtakingly evil, The Omen is the first film in one of the most chilling horror series of all time. No matter how many years go by it gets even better. The great Gregory P. The soundtrack. The steelbook is a must it looks fantastic the Red the crosses surrounding the figure, the eyes just are the business. The debbossed title. Collectable? % 101.

nice looking steel

I haven't watched the movie yet - a movie I haven't seen in many, many years! So this review is about the steelbook itself. I think it is a mostly excellent looking steel. The color is gorgeous. I especially like the detail with the red in Damien's eyes! However, I do feel they could have done a bit better on the back. The image is difficult to make out as well as not standing out. But the front makes up for it. For the price I think it is an exceptional price for the steelbook packaging alone. Like I mentioned, I can't speak about the audio/video quality as I haven't watched it yet.

Nicely done steelbook. Matte finish. The border is debossed, the title is embossed. Damien's eyes have a glossy red shine. Nice artwork on the back and inside.

Gorgeous looking steelbook for a true horror classic. Looks great on the shelf next to 28 days later, 28 weeks later & Evil Dead 2. They all share the same wonderful deep red design.

The Omen Steelbook

When I ordered this I hoped the steel would look as awesome in person as it did online. To my great joy, it surpassed it. The black and red coloring gives the steel an eerie look to me, which I'm sure is what the makers were going for. While I knew this had a debossed Title, i was happily suprised to see it also had an embossed border! This is really a nice steel. Very glad I purchased this!

The Omen - Product Review

It's pretty hard to not like The Omen as a film, and it's even easier when it comes as a fairly decent steelbook presentation. Despite the lack of embossed cover possibilities, the artwork is great, the film transfer is reasonable considering it's age, and overall a great addition to your steelbook collection. The menu options were slightly confusing, but once you work you way around it, there's some great additional content extras to explore. The price tag was great, zavvi were once again quick to get it to me halfway round the planet, so I've got no complaints. Highly recommended.

Great steelbook. Loaded with special features. Awesome transfer. Amazing audio. One of the greatest horror film of our generation. The only thing missing I believe would be a booklet but other than that very happy with this purchase. Fast shipment from zavvi as well, and cheap as hell.

Great film - out at a time with many other films trying to cash in on "The Exorcist" success. The Omen still stands above many horror films, How could it not with greats like Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, David Warner and the fantastic Billie White-law starring. Great case and good pic in blu Ray, had to buy to live it all over again. Does anyone remember the product they advertised on the set whilst making the film .... Believe it or not it was British milk. Avid Omen fan !!!!!!!

THE OMEN STEELBOOK

Fantastic steelbook, a must for any horror collector. I've noticed that in the blu ray specifications in the back of the case there's only english as audio language, But instead there are more audio languages: ENGLISH , FRENCH, ITALIAN AND TURKISCH. I think it is important if I write a review to specify all of the audio languages present in the blu ray, because sometimes also Zavvi doesn't show (if there are) all of the audio langauges in the product details with the exception of course ot the english language...so in all of my reviews I will specify all of the audio languages of every steelbook that I've bought from Zavvi.

Won't review the movie as more than enough has been written about it over the years. The steelbook looks fantastic. The bluray transfer is great. I grabbed this at under five pounds and it is truly a bargain at that price.

The Omen, together with The Exocist and Rosemarys Baby, belongs to the best occult thrillers ever produced, and this classic got a fantastic steelbook release! A worthy edition for a magnificent movie, especially for the amazing price for which it is offered here! Every steelbook collector and fan of occult horror/thriller should´nt think twice but add this classic title to their collection!

Very good steelbook

A classic horror with a very nicely finished steelbook. The front art is really nice but the back art seems a bit off as it isn't clear. Like the big steelbook the designs quite plain but effective and a very good purchase, also lacks in embossing/debossing which is a bit disappointing. Yet again unbeatable on price and delivery speed

A classic horror movie and one of the original possessed child plots. The steelbook is suitably ominous and fits the tone of the movie. Decent cover art and inside art. The disc is region A/B/C and plays in my region A locked North American PS3.
