Prometheus, Mythology has it Gave fire to man by disobeying Zeus himself, because Zeus believed Man was not yet worty of such a gift. So Prometheus was chained to a mountain and his liver was pecked at all during the day while at night it would heal & the following day he would go through this ordeal for a long time as the father of the Gods saw fit such a punishment. The film is very reminiscent of the title man messing with such things that may bring upon him... we are shown in this a great in my opinion movie. Check this film out by a great director such as Sir Ridley. S is, I am sure you will not be disappointed. The steelbook itself has a nice matt finish while the title of the movie being Embossed. Loads of extras, a really nice steelbook I would recommend for any decent collection. Collectable? 101%

I have waited and waited and waited, for years on end, as one half backed Alien movie after another was made with varying success or failure. Always hoping Ridley Scott would return and bring justice to what he created. And then finally it came; Prometheus, a return to the Universe of Alien. Prometheus is an awesome twist to, and recapture of, my love for the sci-fi movie genre. -And I really dig it. This Steelbook makes the perfect home for a really good release of the movie, and all the extra material Ridley is quite known to put on his releases. Zavvi really did a great job with this one :)

This steelbook edition of Prometheus has the 3D and 2D versions as well as a bluray of special features. The case includes beautiful artwork inside and out in a nicely embossed case. Sound and video of superb quality. A must for any movie enthusiast.

My first order from Zavvi, and this steelbook is excellent, the cover art is great and it looks great in my shelf. For the movie itself it kinda split the audience, but i loved it, the visuals and the mood of the movie is really great for buliding tension and its an thought provoking Sci-Fi movie set in the Alien universe, Michael Fassbenders performance as David is just great. A must buy for Alien fans and scifi fans :-)

This is an excellent movie. I did not know before I watched it that it is actually the prequel to Alien, i.e. where did the Aliens come from?. I surely hope there will be a sequel (the movie definitely left that option open) with a trip and encounter to the "Creators'" home planet -- if it still exists.

It could never live up to the hype, so Prometheus was always going to disappoint some people, but now the dust has settled one can take it on its own terms, and it's a thrilling and intelligent ride. The blu-ray edition is packed with eye-popping extras and the steelbook is handsome. I'd personally like a new Alien film every week, but until then this will do nicely.

This is the collectors edition. Here you get both the 2D and 3D version of the film, and they both look and sound excellent. You also get the bonus disc with the full making off documentary that is not available on the standard release of the film. On top of that you get all this in a wonderful looking steelbook. If you are a collector. This is the release to get.

This is a really excellent steelbook and a very responsible price, especially as it contains both the 3D and 2D versions and a bonus extra blu-ray.

The film itself is both stunning and quite disturbing (will there be a second one??) as well as is the idea itself to tell the "story before Ripley": where is the wonderful mystery behind the first victims of the Alien? Quite gone but we will wait for a hypothetical sequel. The visual quality is perfect, 3D is discreet (perhaps too discreet actually), bonuses are great, the artwork of the steelbook is lovely although it might have been more impressive. Overall, with such great bonus material, this is a keeper.
