Great Blue Ray

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this Blue Ray, I found the 3D disapointing as the 3D effects did not warrant buying 3D version 2D would have fine. Service and postage from Zavvi was very good well packaged. Would recommend this Blue Ray but in 2D not 3D.

Ridley still has it

Prometheus as a film is pretty jarring on first watch. But give it a second go, and once all the niggles have worked themselves out, you are left with a pretty rich viewing experience. As you would expect from director Ridley Scott, the film has some stunning visuals, some great character work, and one particular scene that will make even the most aloof of men rue the notion of childbirth. As a not so unofficial, really quite official prequel to Alien, Prometheus is a worthy sister to the franchise. As for the blu ray, the picture and sound are stunning, but the most exciting aspect of the 3D edition is that it comes with a ridiculously comprehensive 3 hour making-of documentary. It really is worth forking out the extra money (don't worry if you don't have a 3D TV, this comes with 2D version of the film as well). If you have the time to watch them, the special features alone will make Prometheus a stand out item in your blu ray collection.
