This is my first blu-ray purchase and I really enjoyed this film, and the extras too. If you liked Gladiator then you will like this movie too. Robin Hood has a great storyline and is thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.
What an amazing film... Ridley Scott certainly likes producing something with a lot of drama and budget! It's hard to believe that the historic scenes were staged as they're so realistic. Crowe was great and presented in a way not familiar to previous Robin fans and Maid Marian is not the glam lady I remember either... but it all works. And of course it was all legend so who knows the reality. My first BluRay purchase and certainly one I shall not be passing on.
Super movie - this is a nice way to spend an evening - and you can watch the movie over and over again. This is also quite a new story about Robin Hood and how he came to be. I hope you will enjoy Robin Hood as much as I did.
I will always remember the old Robin Hood stories. This film was excellent so down to earth what it would really have been like in those times. Russell Crowe an excellent actor suited the part so well. Overall an excellent film.
This is a very different kind of robin hood story, but if you like stuff like gladiator, you will enjoy this. It is a little long but it is very entertaining.
