"They Look Like Monsters To You?"

This is the sequel to the first Silent Hill film. Based off the Silent Hill video games. Silent Hill: Revelation follows the story line of the Silent Hill 3 video game. I personally think that Silent Hill: Revelation did a better job at following the Silent Hill story line than the predecessor. The original Silent Hill film didn't follow the video game story line very well. This one had flaws, yes. But not as many flaws as the first film had. The biggest flaw, for me, is the fact that they made Vincent the same age as Heather. In the video game, Vincent was older than Heather. Heather only being 17, and Vincent being somewhere in his late 20's. And Heather and Vincent didn't get along too well. In the film, they made it to where they got along perfectly well. In the video game, Harry Mason (Heather's father) was brutally killed. In the film, he didn't get killed. How they obtained The Seal of Metatron is also significantly different, from the video game to the film. I PERSONALLY think Silent Hill: Revelation was better than Silent Hill. But the video games are much better than the films are. There are quite significant differences, as you can see. But it's still a good film. But if you're comparing it to the video game, the film falls flat. Now if we're talking about the steelbook itself, I think it's a wonderful addition to my collection! The artwork is very stunning. It was definitely worth purchasing!

The video in the Silent Hill: Revelation - Steelbook Edition (Includes DVD) is spot on. It's so clear. The sound is dts-hd 5.1, and sounds amazing when the action hits. The movie itself is not as good as the first. There is not a lot of action for a horror movie. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Aleeady owned the first movie that I bought from Zavvi. The art work on the second matches the First Steel and this now completes the collection. The audio and video is satisfactory. Got this for 5 to 30 sale and simply one cannot beat that price.
