Those of you blaming Zavvi for the design of the steelbook, fail to realise that this is the exact same design being sold exclusively by Best Buy in the U.S. Zavvi don't have the final say over the design, they simply stock it. If you don't like it, then don't buy it, or buy the alternative standard edition with the slip sleeve over, simple.

I think there's actually a lot going on in the design of this steelbook and the first time I saw it, I thought it looked really cool, especially as many Zavvi designs in recent years have been very lazy and boring. Every now and then they hit the mark beautifully though and this steelbook is a nice one for a very cool film imo, even if the colour scheme could have been a bit more in-your-face.

I actually like the artwork, always whiners!

I hadn't watched this in its entirety in decades, I think the last time was on VHS back in the late 90's and I was really surprised by how much I remembered it. The actual 4K disc is excellent, it's extremely filmic which seems to be the case with a lot of these 'archival' releases that were shot on film and not digitally. Detail is high and the combination of WCG and HDR makes a world of difference, especially on things like explosions and the darker interiors of the office block from the opening. The sound is DTS HD-MA which may seem like a shame but I don't think a DTS-X or Atmos mix would've added much beyond the helicopters flying around and if the trade off for getting films like this released is to have a top quality transfer and a none object based audio track then I'll take it every time. The steelbook is very nice, I know some have complained about it being a matte finish and not glossy like the US release but it doesn't bother me really especially when the artwork is this nice and it'd only end up covered in fingerprints anyway. The disc arrived securely packaged and in perfect condition, altogether this comes highly recommended....👍

I don’t have to tell you how good the film is, it’s a classic. How does the 4K remaster look? Exceptional. It’s easily the best this film has ever looked. And the steelbook design is really cool too.

Fantastic steelbook with great art. Gloss finish would have been great but still nice. Movie transfer is A1 with fine details and colour that really pops. Explosions look amazing and sound even better. This is how it’s done retaining the grain of the film and bringing out the true cinematic experience.
