Great looking steelbook can't wait to add to my collection
It clearly states blu ray on the spine of the image for those of you who can read and spell, unlike ???
Really good story with some new and familiar characters, def worth buying. And it’s a Blu-Ray...if you look at the picture, check the spine at the bottom there’s the words and symbol for Blu-Ray
Loved every minute of this Season. Cant wait till the next season. The steelbook has made this a Beautiful addition to it. I love how the pictues have captured the seasons poster, and made it ao alive.
Excellent series bringing back my all-time favourite Trekkie character. Beautiful steelbook.
Beautifully made both cinematically and storytelling. Bluray quality shines through, giving it that sparkle streaming lacks. The plot is lacking thou, keeping the rating down.
Beautifully designed steelbook for S1 of Picard, very happy with this.
Rather than try to be more than it needs to be, Picard handles the aging of the federation and its best captain perfectly. Perfect send off of another great character to tie up another story (don't worry, no spoilers). The merging of more than one franchise is seemless amd doesn't seem contrived. Roll on season 2
I loved Startrek TNG and very happy when Picard was screened. I preordered the Blu-ray and was not disappointed . Clearly Patrick Stewart is much older but the supporting cast provide the action. Nice to see Will and Troy make a brief appearance. So if you liked TNG then you will love this.
I have always been a big fan of star trek and the next generation in particular, but I was wary when I heard that this was being made - a new series about Picard in his dotage? with no returning characters from the show? surely that won't be much good. I am pleased to say that I was very wrong. this show has so much heart (ironic bearing in mind this is what Picard himself doesn't have) and although we only see Riker, Troi and Data for small amounts of time the new characters more than compensate for that. Great to see Seven of Nine and how she has been living since Voyager returned and the new crew Picard rallies around him work well. I particularly enjoyed Rios, the pilot, and his multiple emergency holograms. There is a lot going on in this ten part series, and it merits multiple viewings to really understand what is happening. Great steelbook, nicely packaged up and an essential addition to your Star Trek collection.
