Star Trek xI

Star Trek XI is a good movie, with the beginning of a great cast that bonds and gels well together. The effects are great, as well as the sound. Let's hope the next adventure turns out as well as this one, it's a great movie.

brill blu-ray

Star Trek XI is a brilliant Blu-Ray at a great price. Excellent Star Trek tale going back in time. Good actors - a must see film!

Fascinating!

This film is a delight for both hardcore Star Trek fans and new viewers, as no background knowledge is required prior to understand the narrative. However, fans such as myself will find an abundance of Easter eggs, clever references and iconic imagery to keep them satisfied, as well as some touching moments between our beloved characters. I found Zachary Quinto's approach to Spock particularly wonderful, as he captured the character's logical approach to situations, as well as bringing something new to the table; a more apparent inner struggle between the conflicting cultures of his two home planets. I give this film 5 stars, as a congratulations to the reboot, the excellent casting, the beautiful soundtrack and hopefully the start of a new successful series of Star Trek films.
