Deep in an underground military base Egyptoligist Daniel Jackson (James Spader) succeeds in deciphering the secret code of an egyptian relic, reactivating the stargate, an ancient porthole capable of transprtation into another dimension, proving his theory that the pyramids were placed on earth by an alien race. Led by Colonal Jack O'Neil (Kurt Russell in one of his most iconic roles since 'Escape from New York'), Daniel Jackson and an elite squadron of air force officers venture throuhg the stargate and into a mysterious land of conflict and adventure, not only risking their lives but also risking the future of mankind and the world as we know it.

If you like SiFi this movie is a classic that needs to be in your collection.
Stargate is a completely unrated classic of the 90's and looks great on Blu Ray.
Been a massive fan of the film "Stargate" but couldn't find it anywhere on Blu ray until I discovered Zavvi. The product arrived very quickly in good condition. Now I cannot see myself shopping anywhere else but Zavvi. Lots of steelbooks and Blu rays are available; really recommend it!
