I've had a fondness for this movie since I saw it when it came out in theatres, especially the cat musicians! As stated elsewhere, this isn't the "classic" Disney style of animation, but it sort of defines the era along with 101 Dalmations. Personally, I like it. The SteelBook is absolutely gorgeous -- a real eye-catcher. It's hard to name the BEST Zavvi Disney SteelBook, but I feel this is one of the best, so I had to double-dip to own this case! Extra star for the case alone!

This has always been my favorite Disney animated feature. That might be because I am a big time cat lover. The style of animation is nothing like modern Disney features. Everything isn't crisp and clear and pretty but it is beautiful. To date this is best it has ever looked on home video. I was so happy when I received my steel book from Zavvi. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. I have ordered a few others from Zavvi and they all have arrived in perfect condition. So happy they survived the trip over the Atlantic to the U.S. Hope there will be a 3D Zavvi release for Planes:Fire & Rescue.

Not considered by some as good as earlier Disney classics, but it is a good entertaining story for kids of all ages. I also bet you have never seen or heard it as good as it is here before. Shame the artwork on the front cover isn't as good as the back. Buy it now while still available.

First things first, I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE PINK OF THIS DISNEY STEELBOOK SO MUCH! It stands out so much against all the rest of them in my collection! It suits the whole musical jazzyness of this timeless toe-tapping Disney classic! It's a really lovely release! Very impressed with it indeed!
Jazz atmosphere of the film, the wacky characters (special mention to the two dogs "Napoleon and Lafayette"), its particular design make this film a gem.
Great realisation by Zavvi, with rare colors and beautiful artwork. Festive as the movie happens to be.
