Simon (Jesse Eisenberg - The Social Network) is a timid man, scratching out an isolated existence in an indifferent world. He is overlooked at work, scorned by his mother, and ignored by the woman of his dreams (Mia Wasikowska - Alice in Wonderland).
The arrival of a new co-worker, James, serves to upset the balance. James is both Simon's exact physical double and his opposite in every way. To Simon's horror, James slowly starts taking over his life.
Directed by Richard Ayoade (Submarine), The Double is an idiosyncratic adaptation of Dostoyevsky's celebrated novella.

Pretty good. Atoned is obviously very cinema literate and has a love for the medium. The film is well constructed and meticulously produced, it has a fair few amusing moments but nothing laugh out loud funny and it was a little meandering.
