The harder they come

You will be drawn to this film by one of two things. First & most obvious, it is the reggae classic & essential for Jimmy Cliff fans. I was part of the second group though, those that where drawn by the movies ties to the original Django movie, For whatever reason you are drawn, this is a classic movie. Made with all the grit of any American 70's classic, but a tad more reggae, this is wonderful movie, which skirts around several genres, from crime to stardom allegory and maybe even part musical. I should point out that I am far from a reggae fan, but that are some great songs (that you will recognize), but even if you hate the music, this is still an unique picture from the greatest period of cinema!
