The Hunt for Red October
The film is very good. The datedness of special effects shows only in few scenes. Transfer and audio are OK. Special features are on a light side, but unlike Harrison Ford's Jack Ryan movies this one at least has a audio commentary to company the behind the scenes featurette.

Great movie,another good Tom Clancy adaptation, if you liked crimson tide you will like this, Film 9/10 , Blu-ray picture Quality 8/10, Audio 7/10, pretty good Blu-ray, overall highly recommended.
