From the producers of Band of Brothers, The Pacific tracks the real-life journeys of three U.S. Marines--Robert Leckie (James Badge Dale), Eugene Sledge (Joe Mazzello) and John Basilone (Jon Seda)--across the vast canvas of the Pacific Theatre during World War II. The extraordinary experiences of these men and their fellow Marines take them from the first clash with the Japanese in the haunted jungles of Guadalcanal, through the impenetrable rain forests of Cape Gloucester, across the blasted coral strongholds of Peleliu, up the black sand terraces of Iwo Jima, through the killing fields of Okinawa, to the triumphant, yet uneasy, return home after V-J Day.

Pacific

Nice package in tin, perfect addition to my collection. I very much appreciate Czech subtitle which aren't included at zavvi details.

Great Quality on BluRay

This is a great watch, especially if you liked Band of Brothers.

Fast Delivery, Great Value Item

The Pacific - Tin Box Edition was offered at a great price and arrived quickly after ordering (within 2 days). Being a Tin Box edition it would have been nice to have seen some more robust packaging but it did arrive safely. I've not had a chance to watch the series yet (The Pacific) but looking forward to it.

The Pacific

The series was every bit as good as I hoped. The quality of the hardwear, disks, packaging etc was excellent and innovative. The value was incredible and my satisfaction is obvious.

The Pacific - Tin Box Edition

The Pacific - Tin Box Edition is a superb edition and is highly recommended.

Excellent

Another 5* package from the Producers of the wonderful Band of Brothers! If you enjoy war movies, The Pacific is a must have!

nice

The Pacific - Tin Box Edition is the same style as Band of Brothers (produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks). It is a nice series but the actors are less realistic than the ones in Band of Brothers. However, you have to see it for the strength of the story.

Magnific Pacific

I bought The Pacific - Tin Box Edition on the back of Band of Brothers, which I watched on TV when it came out. The Pacific is brilliant, especially on Blu- Ray. You get six discs with two episodes on each, which also come with extras. The tin box is an added value, and is much better than plastic. I'm happy that I bought it.

The Pacific - Tin Box Edition

The Pacific - Tin Box Edition is great.

the pacific

First class series, but still not as good as Band of Brothers.
