I quite enjoyed Twelve Monkeys, it's not bad at all. Pay attention though or you might miss something. This is definitely worth owning. I thought it looked alright on Blu-Ray, it's not amazing but I'm pretty sure that's because of the way it was shot and intended to be seen and not because of a bad transfer. Also I never saw it on DVD so I can't compare. Either way this film is well worth seeing.
Twelve Monkeys was shot with diffusion filters to give it this kind of atmospheric haze and it worked well. There is a slight amount of grain on the background scenes, but you'd hardly notice as it is so mild. The characters faces really show up a lot of detail. Well worth the price.
