To celebrate 2 years of Zavvi exclusive steelbooks we proudly present the Zavvi Exclusive Gold Edition of the Who Framed Roger Rabbit Steelbook.
On Blu-ray for the first time ever, this digitally remastered edition of Who Framed Roger Rabbit practically jumps off the screen with its brilliant picture, rich sound - and dangerous curves. It's 1947 Hollywood and Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins), a down-on-his-luck detective, is hired to find proof that Marvin Acme, gag factory mogul and owner of Toontown, is playing hanky-panky with femme fatale Jessica Rabbit, wife of Maroon Cartoon superstar, Roger Rabbit. When Acme is found murdered, all fingers point to Roger, who begs the Toon-hating Valiant to find the real evildoer. Complete with hours of bonus features - including three digitally restored Roger Rabbit shorts, this multi-Oscar winner (Best Film Editing, Best Sound Effects Editing, Best Visual Effects, Special Achievement In Animation Direction, 1988) is pure magic in Hi-Def Blu-ray.

Who framed roger rabbit
The steelbook is amazing and i received it very quickly for coming over seas. Zavvi is a great site and I'm sure to buy more from it in the future
Beautiful
The movie is very entertaining, the mix of animation and live-action totally works. The Blu-ray also comes with a lot of extras, so that's very good. I love the steelbook as well, nice em/debossing. And although it looks yellow in the picture, it actually is golden.
Paddy cake !!!
Beautiful Steelbook and the embossing is fantastic !!! I love the inside pictures also. The blu Ray is the 25th Anniversary of the film and is a beautiful hi def quality film I love it.

Roger rabbit
The first time I ever watched this film was on vhs now that it's on DVDs blu Ray the picture was clean and crisp and not fuzzy or snowing. It also came in a gold steelbook cover in gold. Not in a plastic case.5**
Gorgeous Steelbook
A superb film gets a spectacular treatment as a steelbook. The cover is a beautiful gold all around it, with the characters on the front cover; Roger, Jessica and Eddie all being slightly embossed. It has a beautiful golden spine, with an embossed picture of Roger himself breaking through a red brick wall on the back. Inside it has a lovely landscape picture of Jessica on stage with Roger coming on to it from the right. The Blu-ray disc itself is the 25th anniversary edition of the movie with includes all it's extras, including the digitally re-mastered Roger Rabbit shorts, behind the scenes documentaries, an audio commentary and more. This is a superb edition to get if you haven't yet brought this movie on Blu-ray, or if you're a massive fan of the movie. :)
Poor shipping packaging
Great movie! Awesome looking steelbook! Unfortunately mine was shipped in a thin cardboard envelope. It had numerous dents! Was in terrible shape when I received it.
Gold!
Movie is a classic! Must have & the steelbook is fantastic. Love that it's in gold!
