Well worth picking up these DC COMICS GRAPHIC NOVEL COLLECTION titles. They're often on offer, and a bargain when they are.
Essentially this is a compilation of the graphic novels / comic books story that was used as the basis for the TV series Arrow.
The issuing of these graphic novels allows you to get to grips with many of the classic modern superheroes from the DC universe, while also providing some historical background and reprints of older comics - there is a Green Arrow story from 1941 included with this volume. The art allows you to feel the story in a more imaginative way than you would if you were watching a film or series. The only downside is that I was too afraid to open the volume too far in case it affected the binding. Otherwise - a great idea and, unless you're already collecting or planning to collect the originals, this is a great way to see the art from some of the best DC output.
These products are not standard items for Zavvi, but grab them when they come up. That represent great value and delivered to your door.
Nice hardback with good art and a great story. Relive it or rediscover the Green Arrows origins from millionaire playboy to hero.
