The legendary Terrance Dicks five stars
Some of the best of Doctor Who penned by no other than the legend Terrance Dicks. Dicks was of course script editor during the later Troughton years and the entire Pertwee era. During the end of the Pertwee era and for the rest of the time when Doctor WHO originally aired the name Terrance Dicks became synonymous with the Doctor’s adventures in the Target novel format. It’s fair to say no one got this format better than Dicks and his influence is felt far and wide, many of the modern era Doctor Who writers directly state the influence Dicks had upon them, the likes of Russell T Davies, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatis will all be the first to admit the profound influence that Dicks had on their work. This is part of a wonderful collection, accompanied by a second volume which are essential reading, recommended for old and new fan’s alike. Old fans can relive some of the Terrance Dicks classics all in one place, whilst the fans of the modern era curious about the influences that shaped the modern era of Doctor Who would be well advised to pick up a copy of this essential book at a bargain price

Uncle Terrance rocks.
The man who probably taught more kids to read than anyone else is commemorated in two volumes of his Target novels. Beautiful looking and a pleasure to read

Superb Collection
A great collection of stories all in one book, also have volume two. Hardback which is even better and what a bargain these were. Any fan should snap these up and with winter arriving will keep you busy and cosy with all that nostalgia.
