The Web Crawler is one of the most famous superheroes in the world. Practically everyone is familiar with the exploits of Peter Parker, the devastating passing of his parents at a young age and his subsequent growth into a true hero. Raised by Aunt May and Uncle Ben, Peter was bitten by a radioactive spider, which gave him unique powers — the ability to climb walls, detect threats with his Spidey Sense, lift cars above his head, and more.

Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Spider-Man made his first appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15 (1962). Since then, the character has featured in various adaptations, including TV series and films. Big actors such as Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland have donned the red-and-blue tights on the big screen and battled the Web Head’s various enemies: Green Goblin, Otto Octavius, Curt Connors, Venom, and many others.

Existing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Holland’s rendition of Spidey has joined alongside various other superheroes on the big screen. Recruited by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), he first cropped up in Captain America: Civil War before fighting Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
