An American company founded by Claudia and Mike Becker in the late ’90s, Funko Inc. is a commercially successful business that manufactures collectables inspired by the world of pop culture. The brand’s most famous products are Pop! Vinyl figures, which adopt a stylistic design with black-coloured eyes and cube-shaped heads (an appearance that invites comparison to the Japanese chibi aesthetic). This combined with the supply of officially licensed products based on obscure franchises has ensured the brand’s longevity, its popularity remaining high to this day.
