The Fairest One Of All

Released in 1937 by Walt Disney Productions, Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs tells the story of a kind-hearted princess called Snow White, who has charmed every creature in the kingdom apart from one — her jealous stepmother, the Queen.

When the Magic Mirror tells the Queen that Snow White is the fairest one of all, the Queen is furious. She orders the Huntsman to kill her stepdaughter and bring back her heart; however, the guilt-consumed hunter cannot bring himself to take her life. Snow White flees into the forest, where she stumbles across a charming cottage, which is home to seven dwarfs: Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy, and Dopey. They welcome her into their home with open arms.

Learning off her survival, the Queen creates a poisonous apple that will place whoever eats it into a permanent sleep. She disguises herself as an old woman, travels to the forest, and tricks Snow White into taking a bite. Only true love’s kiss can wake her.
