24 has been perhaps the best and most exciting TV series ever, and that is including the UK and USA. You can`t help but empathize with the characters and watch them grow into their roles. Keifer Sutherland is superb, but so are a plethora of previously unknown actors who makes the shows enjoyable. Every episode has twists and turns and on the edge of your seat finales. You will not see the like again. BUY THEM ALL!
After a recommendation from a friend, I recently decided to watch 24. I was blown away by the first season. Each episode is shot in 'real-time', meaning that one season is literally one day for the characters. This makes the show gripping and tense, and at the end of each episode you always want to move straight on to the next one. Jack Bauer works for Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) in Los Angeles. Day One focuses around the assassination attempt of US Senator, David Palmer. But, it becomes personal for Bauer, after his family becomes involved. The show has everything: intelligent plots; gripping action sequences; well-developed characters; and great actors. From what I've seen of his previous work, to me, this is Kiefer Sutherland at his best. I strongly recommend this show to anyone! It does not disappoint!
