Appropriate for their big screen debut, Edina and Patsy (Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley) are still oozing glitz and glamour, living the high life they are accustomed to; shopping, drinking and clubbing their way around London’s trendiest hotspots. Blamed for a major incident at an uber fashionable launch party, they become entangled in a media storm and are relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi. Fleeing penniless to the glamorous playground of the super-rich, the French Riviera, they hatch a plan to make their escape permanent and live the high life forever more!

Interesting trying to name check all the "celebs" and known names in the film, and at least they've managed to keep the original cast favourites. But what a wasted opportunity with all this A-List talent being prepared to be sent-up or indulge in self caricature. But the frenetic style of the film comes across as just an elongated episode of the series. Some chuckle moments but mainly resorts to slap stick to avoid plot development. Too much of a splatter-gun approach to firing celebs in front of the camera in lieu of any character depth building. Not worth watching twice.
I bought this for my hubby, he enjoyed it, but he didn't think as good, as others he's seen
Big names and moments of hilarity but story line is a bit weak
