  • Description

    First transmitted on BBC1 in 1995, BUGS was the first mainstream telefantasy drama to be broadcast in an adult time slot for years.

    Bugs tells the exploits of Ed (Steven Houghton, London's Burning, Holby City), Ros (Jaye Griffiths, The Bill) and Beckett (Jesse Birdsall, Footballers Wives) who investigate high-tech crimes while working for Ros' company - Gizmo's. Ed is a helicopter pilot, daredevil climber, and a martial arts expert... Ros is equally at home behind the wheel of a skidding car in a hot pursuit as she is in front of a computer screen... Beckett is always risking his life whether imprisoned in a flooded submarine, defeating high-tech defense systems and defusing time bombs with only seconds on the clock.

    Their enemies are corrupt politicians, ruthless international criminals, renegade scientists, dictators and megalomaniacs of all kinds!
