Desperate Housewives - Series 5

This show just gets better and better. Fantastic series.

We were very pleased to receive Series 5 of Desperate Housewives. It was packed very well and arrived quickly. the price was excellent too....I will be back to get some more DVD's....DEFINITELY!!!!

Absolutely love Desperate Housewives. Always fun, identify with any of the women and adore the thought provoking scenarios. Must have series for any fan's collection.

Desperate Houswives is probably the most infamous televison programme that surround the female demographic and rightly so. Season Five was a major risk for show creator and creator of 'The Golden Girls' Marc Cherry because it went five years in to the future and most storylines that were built upon were shattered because it appeared that everything changed. However, it only made the show fresher and made it more approachable for new and old fans alike. The main storyline surrounds the mystery of legendary maneater Edie Britt's new husband, his past and his linkage with neighbour, Susan Meyer. Elsewhere, Bree Hodge enjoys married life with husband Orson and enjoys newfound success with her cookbook. Katherine Mayfair deals with the consequences of finally getting rid of her meddling husband. Gabrielle Solis deals with gaining weight and having children and just how much her life has changed. All in all, the season is fabulous and trashy television - a major guilty pleasure that keeps a smile on your face but can wipe it off just as quick with a major shock. Check it out. It won't disappoint!!
