Two brothers find themselves castaway's on Dinotopia, a secret world where dinosaurs and humans coexist in harmony until their sources of power, the sunstones, begin to fail. The boys are the keys to Dinotopia's survival, and must journey to a dangerous forbidden territory in a last attempt to save their new home.

I was pleasantly surprised when watching Dinotopia, as a TV series for a young audience bas, I expected the special effects to be cheap and cheerful. It is actually well produced and though I bought it for the kids, I found I was quite enjoying it. Obviously no heavy plot but some very good and well known actors in it too (David Thewlis/Colin Salmon/Wentworth Miller. Well worth getting especially if you have young ones who are into dinosaurs and there's some eye candy for the mums!
