Their curiosity leads them to follow her home one night, only to find that her 'home' appears to be a deserted junkyard. The Daleks:

The Tardis lands in an alien, petrified jungle, beyond which lies a mysterious, deserted city. The Edge of Destruction:

Something has caused the Tardis console to explode in mid-flight, plunging the ship into darkness and rendering the crew unconscious. Doctor Who: The Beginning is a great box set, the stories are classic and for anyone looking start collecting Who DVDs this is a great starting point, aside from the stories the bonus features are fantastic, including some great commentaries, several documentaries, and several comic relief sketches, my favorite of which is "The Kidnappers" in which two Doctor Who Super Fans kidnap the actor who played the fifth doctor Peter Davison. All in all i can't recommend this enough, 10 out of 10 and a must have for any Who fan.
