Dreamchild is a 1985 British drama film written by Dennis Potter, directed by Gavin Millar and produced by Rick McCallum and Kenith Trodd. It stars Coral Browne, Ian Holm, Peter Gallagher, Nicola Cowper and Amelia Shankley and is a fictionalised account of Alice Liddell, the child who inspired Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Featuring the work of legendary puppet master Jim Henson.
In 1932, Alice Liddell Hargreaves, age 80, travels to New York to attend a celebration of Lewis Carroll's centenary. Was shy Carroll actually in love with her?
