She travels to Maud's small home town, where it transpires that Elvira has inherited a run-down house, a poodle and a cookery book. Elvira - Mistress of the Dark
I first saw this film years ago and can't understand why it doesn't appear on television more often which is why I am buying a copy. There is something for everyone in it. It is a little risqué in parts but so funny. Although quite old because of the setting it doesn't stand out as much as some other old films. At the price here you can't fail, even if it only gets watched at the same time as the rocky horror picture show. A definite classic.
