The Brits Are So Funny
Many thanks to Zavvi, I've been looking for this series for a long time at a great price. Living in the U.S. it is difficult to find many UK titles and Zavvi often has amazing offers like this one that make expensive items on other sites more affordable to people in the United States which I appreciate very much! I was introduced to French and Saunders after seeing Absolutely Fabulous and honestly this show is just as funny, and I didn't realize the the origin of Ab Fab came from this show, very interesting to see the original concept. Prior to my purchase, I had only seen clips of the show online and even though I just finished the 2nd disc, I already feel this was well worth the purchase. Much love JS!

Just about every sketch from French and Saunders is hysterically funny. Fans will love this series.

French & Saunders. Oh dear...
It's horrible when nostalgia collides with reality. On the plus side it's a great price, looks nice, arrived in good order & in good time. But... I love them dearly, but this shows how very hit & miss the show actually was, compared to Vicar of Dibley & (most) of Ab Fab, all but the classic scenes we all remember so fondly seem dated at best or so bad that we collectively chose to forget them all. Just a shame there isn't a "best of" disc, it would have saved a lot of skipping & disc changing. But again, for the price & the packaging worth it. That was a VERY difficult review to write for me as I have such fondness for them. I hope it comes across as as fair as I could be.

A gift for my mym
I purchased this boxset as a gift for my mum as she has been a fan of both of these comedian's work since I was a child. The package arrived promptly and in perfect condition.
