A great series from the 90 s about a man who finds a time portal to the 1940 s.There he meets the landlady of the Royal Oak and falls in love with her.A very clever series full of humour and one liners.The series is well presented in a 11 disc box with lots of extras on the discs.I would highly recommend this to people of all ages.A 10-10.

Just as it was all those years ago on the bbc. The transfer to DVD is good but it is dramatically short or specail features, but for under£15.00, there's a lot to be happy about. Every single episode for £15.00, that is good value for money.
Goodnight sweetheart is as good now as it was back when it first started , so glad I bought this boxset more so for nostalgia but also because its british tv at its very best , ordered this product 3 days ago and its already in my dvd player , purchase this product , I guarantee youll have made a worthwhile investment.
this is a classic t.v. series, much loved by all my family Nicholas Lyndhurst, such a versatile actor, give a great performance as usual, the contrast between London now and London the blitz, was well worked. a laugh out loud series and now we know what happened to jack the ripper? i'll leave that to you to find out. To sum it up in one word Fantastic!
