IMPORT/EXPORT focuses on two very different stories: a young woman who leaves her life and child in the Ukraine to travel to Vienna to become a nurse; and that of Paul, a stubborn security guard who journeys from Vienna to Eastern Europe, accompanying his stepfather on a trip to sell gumball machines. Gorgeously shot and exquisitely acted by an impeccable cast, IMPORT/EXPORT is a masterwork and one of 2008's best reviewed films.
