Stephen Fry returns to the role of Peter Kingdom, a wise, warm-hearted solicitor in the small Norfolk town of Market Shipborough. It’s a time of great change in the offices and household of the Kingdom family. Ted the pub landlord and the remarkably quirky Sidney Snell are bringing complaints aplenty to the Kingdom offices and, in the midst of these average days in a small Norfolk town, the presence of Peter’s prodigal brother Simon is felt once more in several unexpected ways. Consisting of six full-length episodes, this richly entertaining second series of Kingdom features guest appearances by Richard Briers, Miriam Margolyes, Diana Quick and Richard Wilson.

The second series is a little bit different than the first. More silliness than before but still some good story lines. If you watched the first series and liked it then you just have the watch the second.
Lovely, gentle humour. Really enjoyed this whole show and very disappointed when it was cancelled.
