Little Dorrit is a BBC adaptation series of the well known Charles Dicken's novel. The story is set is 1820s London, and revolves around Arthur Clenman who returns home to find that his mother has taken in Amy Dorrit, a young seamstress. As this charitable act is so out of his mother's character he decides to investigate further, finding Amy Dorrit's father in prison, and discovering there's more of his family's past than he had ever imagined.

Little Dorritt
It's brilliant if you like historic drama worth every penny you will not be disappointed. The middle section drags a bit but once you reach the final disk you know everything works out in the end.
