Lost . Season 5.

The story in Lost - Season 5 Complete moves on towards its conclusion. Still a lot of unanswered questions to be cleared up from the previous seasons of Lost.

The plot thickens

With Season 5, Lost manages to mix up its formula once again, with what is by the far the most sci-fi the show gets. By this stage you already know if you like the show or not and I wouldn't advise this season without having watched the previous 4 as you won't have a clue what is going on. The pros of this season is that the "filler" material that dragged down seasons 1-3 is cut away and every episode moves the story along nicely. We also start to get some answers or at least clues to the many mysteries within the show. There are also some very interesting character developments and some excellent twists (which i obviously can't mention) throughout. I think this is the most consistent season of the show by far and with hindsight I wish the show had ended here as I find this season's ending far more satisfying than the one presented in season 6.

Next Hit Please !

Im starting to understand what it must be like to be addicted to a class one drug. You have no idea after a while why your doing it anymore but you need your next fix, and its getting like that with Leost. The producers are getting more and more desperate to milk every ounce out of Lost, with more complicated and far fetched plots to scramble your brain. You keep telling yourself "I need to know, I need to know" in some kind of zombie voice with a glazed look on your face, and you tune in for your next hit. If your a Lost fan and buy now you surely are, then you know your going to buy this as like the rest of us you NEED to know !

An ok series, next may be better

Does the DVD help unravel the mystery. Well maybe a little. Certainly at times it feels like this season is going round and round in circles however the extras, the commentary and the ability to watch continuously rather than waiting a week and then having adverts every 5 minutes helps you keep going with the plot. Season 5 seems to be leading up to explaining all in Season 6, it's good but not the best but essential if you're a Lost fan and want ti find out what actually happened on that flight,
