When five outsiders on community service get struck by a flash storm they end up lumbered with special powers. Hard-as-nails Kelly can suddenly hear people’s thoughts, shamed sporting hero Curtis discovers he has the ability to turn back time, and party-girl Alisha can send people into a sexual frenzy when they touch her skin. Even painfully shy Simon can make himself invisible, which makes it all the more hard to swallow for smart-alec Nathan, who seems to have been unaffected... or has he?
Unlike their more conventional counterparts, our misfits don’t swap their ankle tags and mobile phones for capes and tights. Instead, they discover just how tough life can be when you’re stuck with a super power you didn’t want.

The very idea of a load of young offenders getting supernatural powers after an electrical storm is fab - and especially the prison officer bloke getting super evil poers! I was gutted when Nathan died tho :( Love "Future Simon" in series 2. both me and my daughter really enjoyed both series and cant wait to wait series 3.
If you have not seen this series yet well then, close the curtains, lock the door, sit back and enjoy!!!! In my opinion its when "Shameless" meets "Heroes" and the result is an addictive edge of your seat thriller with gags a plenty!!. I bought the box set and watched it all over again. If you do nothing else this christmas treat yourself to "Misfits".. because your worth it!
I love Misfits, Its a must see!
