Becoming champions of Europe for the second time confirmed Munster's position in the pantheon of truly great sides. How they made history was phenomenal. They had been grouped alongside London Wasps, Clermont Auvergne and Llaneli Scarlets. They were down and out and until a late bonus point in France made all the difference.
In the knock out stages they had to win at Gloucester, Saracens and against the triple Heineken Cup champions, Toulouse. Tens of thousands of Munster supporters turned the Millennium Stadium red on that memorable day in May.
The programme also includes exclusive interviews with the players, a special extra with the late Sir Richard Harris on his passion for Munster and behind the scenes footage including the incredible celebrations in Limerick as the fans welcomed home their heroes.
