Peaches
  • Description

Peaches is set in the small country town of Swanreach where just about the only source of employment is the fruit canning factory. On her 18th birthday, Steph, (Emma Lung), starts work there under the watchful eye of the foreman, Alan (Hugo Weaving). Steph's eyes are opened when she receives her late mother jass' diary, which reveals the colourful sexy past of those close to her. Through the diary, Steph starts to learn about the parents she never knew and makes discoveries that allow her to reinvent her vision of the world.

An intriguing and emotionally resonant love story featuring wonderfully realised characters, in a film which is sensual and beautiful.
