Sean Bean stars as maverick British rifleman Richard Sharpe in this romantic adventure set during the bloody conflicts of 19th Century Napoleonic Spain.

Ordered to lay siege to the French stronghold - the walled city of Badajos - Sharpe is torn between overcoming the enemy, and rescuing his lover - the beautiful guerrilla fighter Teresa (Assumpta Serna) - now trapped in the city on a secret mission spying for the British.
