THE RETURN OF THE MUCH-LOVED SITCOM
Welcome back to Arkwright’s – television’s most loved convenience store.
What’s in store? A camping trip for Eric and Cyril, a diet for Gastric, and romance for Mr Newbold and Mrs Rossi. There are the driving lessons of doom, a dog whispering sweet nothings, a bicycle ride full of surprises, and all sorts of interesting new uses for a mangle. There are more schemes than you could shake a boiled ham at and of course there’s the snapping drawer of that famous till.

Still Open for Laughs
Continuing the series after Ronnie Barker’s death was risky but having David Jason at the helm was a master stroke. Reprising his role as Granville from the original series, Jason is now the owner of the corner shop and is just as miserly as Arkwright from the original. With brilliant support cast, this series fairs well against the original. If you like British comedy at its best, get this.
