I was already a 'Big Bang' addict that had seen all of the episodes on TV when I bought this box set a couple of months ago. I watched this once through and have been re-watching episodes/features to this day and see myself doing so for the long term future. There are no bad episodes in seasons 1-4. The special features are an interesting look behind-the-scenes and even the gag reels are amusing every time! I've never bought a TV series on DVD before, but The Big Bang Theory is just too amazing to ignore. Truly a laugh out loud comedy, with the odd sentimental moment. Everything just 'clicks' with this show; the writing, the characters, the chemistry of the actors. I think initially this show mostly appeals to people who are (like myself) socially awkward, outcasts, geeks, underdogs etc. If you feel like this, you'll probably relate to this show and these characters more than any other on TV. If that's not you, then still give it a chance as it also attracts a wider audience (I've seen it firsthand). Also, you don't have to understand every sci-fi or physics reference to enjoy it. You will actually learn as well as laugh. If you're a fan of The Big Bang Theory, this is a must-have. If you've stumbled onto this and haven't seen the show before, give it a try, there's a good chance you'll be back to buy.

I'm lucky, I somehow missed this funny show. I now have 5 seasons of the Big Bang Theory to catch up on. Love it!

Great to see all the early Big Bang Theory seasons again. Can't wait till Season five comes out on DVD. Well worth the money.

These 4 seasons are pure GOLD ! I literally laugh every 10 seconds and never get enough of this show . A must-have for sure !

This is an excellent series and I think a lot of people think it is just for geeky people, however this is far from the truth! This will appeal to all types of people especially those who are a bit different from the norm. It is well written and is exceptionally funny there are plenty of laughs to be had and extra ones if you have seen the movie/read the book/played the game they are referring too!

Big Bang Theory is surely one of the best comedies around at the moment. Highly addictive and totally funny, great characters and great comic timing and acting. If you have never seen The Big Bang Theory then you need to do so. It appeals to all age groups. No smut just classic comedy, and up there with Only fools and Horses in my opinion.

My teenage daughter and I love the Big Bang Theory, and we thoroughly recommend Seasons 1-4 to the whole world. It's funny, clever and quirky and the characters, although very different, are all likeable in their own way and each one would be a major loss to the series. Yes I know it's American, but it is fantastic!
